concentrate on the obvious
and patterns will emerge
ones you can depend on
through every flow and surge
the task is not so easy
for details will obscure
distorting and distracting
and hiding what is sure
so marvel at the facets
and dwell on what they mean
yet never let the obvious
descend until unseen
